 Tennessee Volunteer point guard Bobby Maze, aka "The Iceman" flows on the court like Ice melting in the noonday sun.  The Suitland, Maryland native is the "silent partner" in the success the Vols have had this season and if they have any chance of advancing in the NCAA tourney from this point on,  one of the most unheralded guards in the nation will have a say in it.  Make no mistake Bobby Maze is the only way.

 The Sweet 16 action starts today and the following is a list of games and locations around the country.  The Elite 8  games will be played on March 27th and 28th.  The Final Four is set for Saturday April 3rd.

The Washington Redskins will not establish a Super Bowl team for next season in this year’s draft but sitting pretty with the fourth-overall pick, they are in the position to make the selection that would, at the least, make them competitive, instantly. The Redskins and popular opinion may believe that drafting a quarterback is important, but it’s not totally necessary.

Evidently they do more than shuck corn in Iowa.  They play basketball pretty good too. For bracketeers around the country, the massacre continues.  Many have bled out.  Kansas, picked by many to win this thing outright, including myself, go down in a blaze of glory to the farmboys of Northern Iowa.  Make no mistake however these guys can flat out ball.   The play hoops in the Midwest , yes indeed.   As for the Big East, another one bites the dust.

All season long the Big East has been touted as the top power conference in basketball and rightfully so with four teams at any one time in the Top 25 but in the NCAA Tournament, reputation means nothing.  Teams have nothing to lose and everything to gain.  Bring you’re A game or go home and three teams from the Big East will do just that.
