WASHINGTON – In some instances, it would have been hard to figure out what team to root for when watching the championship game of the Nike Pro-City Basketball League on Sunday afternoon at McDonough Arena.

Washington, DC - Former Marquette University star and current Minnesota Timberwolves guard Lazar Hayward hit a 3 point shot just before the buzzer to give Awash & Associates the 2010 Jabbo Kenner League Title despite a valiant comeback effort from Beyond Belief and their star guard Isaiah Swann 69-66.

Washington, DC - Hoop Magic's P Shon Howard is one of my favorite players of the Nike Pro City Summer Games but even he was powerless against the onslaught of Virginia Tech's Jeff Allen, Georgetown's Jason Clark, GW's Lassan Kromah, and Southern Illinois Ernest Watson.
