WASHINGTON – No. 12 Georgetown opened a 10-point lead in the second half, saw No. 4 Louisville come back to tie the game, but freshman forward Otto Porter (Sikeston, Mo./Scott County Central) scored six of the team’s final eight points in the last two minutes as the Hoyas beat the Cardinals, 71-68, in front of 22,517 fans at the Yum Center Wednesday night.

WASHINGTON – Georgetown overcame a sluggish first half and used a 10-0 spurt to start the second half as junior forward Hollis Thompson (Los Angeles, Calif./Loyola) scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and sophomore forward Nate Lubick (Southborough, Mass./St. Marks) adding eight points and a career-high 14 rebounds en route to a 81-58 win over IUPUI in front of 6,854 fans at Verizon Center Monday night.

WASHINGTON – After leading the Georgetown University men’s basketball team to a thrilling 91-88 overtime win against No. 8-ranked Memphis on Wednesday, Hoyas senior guard Jason Clark (Arlington, Va./Bishop O’Connell) was named to the Maui Invitational All-Tournament team at the conclusion of the three-day event on Wednesday night.
