Savannah, Ga.---January 28--- Saadia Doyle and Tamoria Holmes finished with a combined total of 35 points to lead the Howard Women’s basketball team (14-7 overall, 6-2 in MEAC) to a 64-51 win over the Savannah State (8-12, 2-6) in Tiger Arena on Jan. 28.
South Orange, N.J---December 28--- Saadia Doyle and Tamoria Holmes completed the game with a combined total of 43 points to guide the Howard Women’s Basketball team to a 19 point victory (63-44) over the Seton Hall Pirates (7-7) on Dec. 28.
Teaneck, N.J --- December 30--- The Howard Women’s basketball team pulled out another win to defeat Fairleigh Dickinson by 10, 66-56 on Dec 30 at Stratis Arena. HU finished the month of December with a perfect 7-0 record and improved its overall mark to 8-5 heading into the New Year.
WINSTON-SALEM, NC--- December 18--- The Howard women’s basketball team upset Wake Forest 63-59 in Winston Salem, N.C. This marks the third time in Howard Women’s basketball history that the Lady Bison have defeated an Atlantic-Coast Conference opponent. Previously, HU women’s basketball knocked off Maryland and N.C. State under legendary MEAC Hall of Fame coach Sandra Tyler.
