RICHMOND, Va. – Senior midfielder Lisa Bernardini and senior defender Hannah McBee of the Old Dominion University Women's Lacrosse team were named the All-CAA team by the league’s head coaches as announced by the conference office on Thursday evening.

Bernardini (Langhorne, Pa./George School) was a First Team All-CAA selection at midfield after earning CAA Player of the Week on two different occasions this season. The ODU two-sport athlete was named Second Team All-CAA in 2011 and to the All-CAA Rookie team in 2009. Bernardini finishes her career at Old Dominion ranked second all-time in career assists (66), fourth all-time in career points (190) and tied for sixth all-time in career goals (124). In 2012, Bernardini was named the ODU Alumni Association’s Female Athlete of the Year after leading the team in goals (34), assists (15), points (49) and caused turnovers (20). 

McBee (Middletown, Md./Urbana) was selected to the All-CAA Second Team after starting all 17 games on defense and causing problems for opposing offenses all season. The senior caused 15 turnovers, racked up 24 groundballs and won six draw controls. McBee scored her first career goal at American on March 3 when she ran down the length of the field to find the back of the net. She also scored on a free position shot against James Madison on Senior Day in Norfolk back on April 15. 

James Madison redshirt junior attacker Casey Ancarrow has been selected as the Player of the Year. Also earning top honors were James Madison senior defender Cally Chakrian as CAA Defensive Player of the Year, Delaware freshman midfielder Caitlin McCartney as CAA Rookie of the Year and Towson head coach Sonia LaMonica as CAA Coach of the Year.
