MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (April 29, 2009) - A three-run home run by Grant Buckner in the fifth inning and a solo shot by Jedd Gyorko in the sixth were not enough as the West Virginia University baseball team lost to Maryland, 8-7, on Wednesday evening at Hawley Field.

BLACKSBURG, Va. - The No. 9 Virginia women’s lacrosse team dropped its first Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament game since 2005 Friday afternoon, falling to undefeated No. 2, and top-seed, Maryland, 15-7, at Thompson Field on the campus of Virginia Tech.

WASHINGTON, DC (April 21, 2009) - The D.C. United Academy will be holding tryouts for the U15 Academy Training Program and the Super-20 Academy Team. Tryouts will be held the next four Mondays at the RFK Stadium Auxiliary Turf Field for both groups.
