Surprise endings in movies are great, but surprise endings in sports are fantastic. Like movies, through a sports season, no matter which one, you can predict what’s going to happen- or at least think what’s going to happen. For example, the movie,” Valentine”, a girl was being stalked and all of her friends were being killed. After it was said and done, she realized it was one of her friends, the only one alive- go figure. The girl’s friend was lying dead with the killer’s mask on. Surprise! Come to find out her boyfriend set the dead girl up. Throughout the movie, the killer’s nose bleed after he made a kill and when the dude hugged his girlfriend, his nose bleed. That was awesome.

I really want to get out of the sports prediction business. How many times in the history of sports do we see an overwhelmingly, seemingly unbeatable Goliath get defeated by a seemingly overmatched and hopeless David?

There's has been a lot going on in sports around town and the nation over the past week or so and I'm way behind schedule posting to the blog this week. I'm wondering how the Redskins new coaching search is coming along. I thought Gregg Williams would be a lock but from what I understand they have to go thru the interviewing process before they hire him. Williams won't run the offense anyway Al Saunders will but hey, we'll have to wait and see, right? The key to the Skins is the development of Campbell. The late run the Skins made shows how that offense can roll if the quarterback is performing well. The coaching staff has to get Campbell up and running for next season. Hopefully they won't wait too long because the draft will be here before you know it and we need a dominate wide receiver and another good safety.

I'm certainly relieved that Tom Brady doesn't play for Dallas. I mean can you imagine what the world would be like if the Dallas Cowboys were 17-0 with Brady at quarterback? For the Redskins, Giants, & Eagles faithful life would not be worth living. It would be unbearable to coexist with the Cowboy nation. It would be just sickening all the media attention. Brady is one of those guys in life who has the world by the you know whats. Brady has the looks, money, fame, and resume. As the Cowboy starting quarterback it would be sick. We wouldn't catch a break.
