On Antawn Jamison in practice today:

"He looked good.  He made every shot, it seemed.  I didn't see him take a hit.  He was cutting and he was defending cutters but he did not drive in and take a hit."

More on Jamison:

"I think Antawn is still little ways away, but Caron is certainly a game-time decision (tomorrow night).  Other guys are jacked up about playing and they are going to have a comfort level of me calling their name and knowing what to expect."

On moving on after the loss against Minnesota:

"We just have to shoot better.  We played really good defense, and we protected the rim, but there were some plays with breakdowns.  For the most part we picked up full court and had some real good pressure defense."

On DeShawn Stevenson:

“He is a solid veteran…a veteran that stays within his role and he sees that his role changed with Antawn (Jamison) being out. As good veterans will do that has the skill level that he has.   He knows that he has to be aggressive and score a little bit and take a little bit of the responsibility to score, and that is what he has done.  That is the sign of a good, sound, solid veteran.”

“We are both real good friends, and it was a good game, he’s a good player. He made some big plays, took some big shots, and you know, we’re good friends and hopefully we can bring our games next year to Georgetown.” 

“Most definitely. I think our games kind of complement each other pretty well, and I think everything will flow pretty easily next year and we just going to try and hope everything goes well.”
