This season’s NBA Finals are not only for the participants, it’s for the history of the league.  The Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics match-up is a dream contest for the fans, the NBA and the former players- especially the ones from these respective teams.  The franchises historical players of the Lakers and Celtics- living and able- are attending the games and during the Finals, children will ask, “Who is that?”  This will be the perfect time to share with children the history of the NBA and the players who made the league great.

Through the history of the NBA, there have been many great players - including Hall of Famers – who did not play in the Finals.  F Kevin Garnett of the Boston Celtics is now off that long list.

The “will to win”, is like a disease.  The only cure for the “will to win” is to win.  If the “will to win” is a disease, Kobe Bryant, of the Los Angeles Lakers, is infested with it – full-blown.
