Orlando, Fla. ─ Sophomore guard Austin Freeman (Mitchellville, Md./DeMatha) scored a game-high 18 points, junior forward DaJuan Summers (Baltimore, Md./McDonogh) added 14 and freshman center Greg Monroe (New Orleans, La./Helen Cox) chipped in 12 points as four players scored in double figures and No. 21 Georgetown cruised to a 75-48 win over Maryland at the Old Spice Classic Sunday evening.

Orlando, Fla. ─ Sophomore guard Chris Wright ( Bowie , Md. /St. John’s College H.S.) scored 18 points and junior forward DaJuan Summers (Baltimore, Md./McDonogh) added 17 points to lead four players in double figures, but it was not enough for No. 21 Georgetown in a 90-78 loss to No. 12 Tennessee in a semifinal game of the Old Spice Classic at the Milk House at Disney World Friday afternoon.

Orlando, Fla. ─ Sophomore guard Austin Freeman (Mitchellville, Md./DeMatha) scored a game-high 18 points and No. 21 Georgetown hit nearly 80 percent of its free throws en route to a 58-50 win over Wichita State in the opening round of the Old Spice Classic in front of 3,357 fans at the Milk House Thanksgiving Day.

WASHINGTON, D.C. ─ Georgetown University senior DL Ataefiok Etukeren ( Litchfield Park , Ariz. /The Lawrenceville School[N.J.]) and junior DB Travis Mack ( West Chester , Pa. /The Hill School) were named to the 2008 Patriot League Football second team when the honors were announced by the league on Tuesday morning. The 2008 All-Patriot League football team was selected by the league’s seven head coaches.
