No. 21 Georgetown Puts Four in Double Figures, Tops Maryland , 75-48
Orlando, Fla.    Sophomore guard Austin Freeman (Mitchellville, Md./DeMatha) scored a game-high 18 points, junior forward DaJuan Summers (Baltimore, Md./McDonogh) added 14 and freshman center Greg Monroe (New Orleans, La./Helen Cox) chipped in 12 points as four players scored in double figures and No. 21 Georgetown cruised to a 75-48 win over Maryland at the Old Spice Classic Sunday evening.

No. 12 Tennessee Tops No. 21 Georgetown , 90-78, in Old Spice Classic
Orlando, Fla.    Sophomore guard Chris Wright ( Bowie , Md. /St. John’s College H.S.) scored 18 points and junior forward DaJuan Summers (Baltimore, Md./McDonogh) added 17 points to lead four players in double figures, but it was not enough for No. 21 Georgetown in a 90-78 loss to No. 12 Tennessee in a semifinal game of the Old Spice Classic at the Milk House at Disney World Friday afternoon.

Freeman, Summers Lead No. 21 Georgetown Past Wichita State , 58-50
Orlando, Fla.    Sophomore guard Austin Freeman (Mitchellville, Md./DeMatha) scored a game-high 18 points and No. 21 Georgetown hit nearly 80 percent of its free throws en route to a 58-50 win over Wichita State in the opening round of the Old Spice Classic in front of 3,357 fans at the Milk House Thanksgiving Day.

Ataefiok Etukeren and Travis Mack Named 2nd Team All-Patriot League Football
WASHINGTON, D.C.  Georgetown University senior DL Ataefiok Etukeren ( Litchfield Park , Ariz. /The Lawrenceville School[N.J.]) and junior DB Travis Mack ( West Chester , Pa. /The Hill School) were named to the 2008 Patriot League Football second team when the honors were announced by the league on Tuesday morning. The 2008 All-Patriot League football team was selected by the league’s seven head coaches.

Monroe Leads Four in Double Figures, No. 22 Georgetown Runs Away from Drexel, 81-53
Washington, D.C.    Freshman center Greg Monroe ( New Orleans , La. /Helen Cox) scored a game-high 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead four players in double figures as No. 22 Georgetown opened up a 17-point halftime en route to an 81-53 win over Drexel in front of 11,434 fans at Verizon Center Saturday afternoon.
