    HAMPTON, VA. - Led by All-Conference First Team member Iva Lakic's match-high 24 kills, the No. 1 seed Florida A&M (16-6) rolled past No. 4 Howard (5-27) 3-0 (30-14, 30-19, 30-21) in the third MEAC Volleyball Championship quarterfinal match on Nov. 16 at Hampton's Holland Hall Center in Hampton, Va.

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA. - The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) will hold its volleyball championship tournament this weekend, November 16-17 in Holland Hall on the campus of Hampton University. The Howard Lady Bison earned the fourth seed in the north and will face off against #1 Florida A&M on Friday at 1:30 pm.

    WACO, TEXAS – Four Bison scored in double-figures but it was not enough as Prairie View A&M topped Howard, 77-73 on day two of the Basketball Travelers Tip-Off Classic at the Ferrell Center.

Bethune-Cookman Runs Roughshod Over Bison

      Washington, DC-Bethune-Cookman rushed for 420 yards and four TDs against the highlyranked Howard defense en route to a 37-26 win over the Bison in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference game at Greene Stadium. The Wildcats (4-6 overall, 2-5 in the MEAC) were able to run the ball so effectively that they attempted only five passes, completing none while averaging over 8 yards per play against the Howard defense, which came into the game allowing only 118 yards per contest.
