ATLANTA, GA. - Seniors Shannon Carlisle, Asha Santee, Reyna Gross and Terease Thornton were selected as participants in the Nike "So You Want To Be A Coach" program. The event will be held from April 4-6 in Tampa , Fla. , during the Women's Basketball Coaches Association's (WBCA) National Convention.

Lady Bison were selected to finish first in Northern Division and capture title;

Florida A&M slated to finish first in South


VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - The defending Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) tournament champion Howard University was predicted to win the 2008 MEAC Softball Championship, as voted on by the league's head softball coaches and sports information directors.  Florida A&M were slated to finish first in the Southern Division while the Bison were picked to win the Northern Division and the tournament title.

Reid Powers SC State To Easy Win Over Howard

Washington, DC—February 18—Marie Reid came off the bench to score a career-high 31 points and lead four players in double figures as South Carolina State rolled to an easy 106-78 win over Howard University in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference women’s game at Burr Gymnasium.
