ARLINGTON, Va. – The Washington Capitals will have 81 of their 82 regular-season games televised during the 2007-08 season, the team announced today in conjunction with its broadcast partner, Comcast SportsNet. Every Capitals home game broadcast on the network will be in available in high definition.

Washington, D.C. – Eddie Jordan and Tommy Sheppard from the Washington Wizards will be joined by Antawn Jamison, DeShawn Stevenson and Andray Blatche, as well as other players from the Washington Wizards, at Spingarn High School Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m. as they kick off the Verizon Center’s tenth anniversary campaign. Joining the Wizards will be Monique Currie of the Washington Mystics and Verizon Center staff as they participate in a community service day event by painting the school gym, landscaping and visiting school classrooms.
