Olie Kolzig to Visit The Children’s Inn at NIH, Tuesday, Dec. 18 |

ARLINGTON, Va. –Washington Capitals goaltender Olie Kolzig will visit The Children’s Inn at NIH, Tuesday, Dec. 18 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. He will take part in the Inn’s Magic Holiday Event, signing autographs and passing out Hockey Fights Cancer fleece blankets donated by the National Hockey League.
Kolzig is one of six professional athletes in the D.C. area taking part in The Children’s Inn’s Sports Ambassadors program. Redskins quarterback Mark Brunell, Mystics guard Alana Beard, Nationals reliever Chad Cordero, Caron Butler of the Wizards and D.C. United’s Christian Gomez are each members of the Sports Ambassadors initiative, which encourages people to donate to the “$93-A-Night” effort to house families at The Inn.
