This is the first official entry into the DCMS Blog. Since the time this site was created, I have failed to recognize the power to speaking to our audience thru our blog. Originally it was added by a writer as a place to rant and rave but it will be used as a platform to speak to our audience. The DCMetrosports.com story began two years as a way to promote local sports in the Washington DC area. There was no official roadmap but to try and provide information to the general sporting public can use.
DCMS has now grown into a full fledgled media operation with the goal of becoming an up to the minute sports source for the DC metro area but we have work to do. I would like to invite the public's participation in whatever sporting event, athlete, or story you want highlighted. Please e-mail us.
I will be updating the DCMS blog three times a week in the beginning with the goal of once a day tidbits and opinions on anything and not necessarily sports stuff.
The DCMS blog will be used as a platform to provide readers with neat little things we will be doing in the future. Please come back and check us out!
