Two days before the beginning of the new year and I'm really looking forward to the local DC prep basketball scene. I will be posting a Top 20 list next week of high school players to watch out for. I understand the sophomore 2010 class is loaded. My guy Van Johnson at Gameplan Sports is giving me a heads up on who's who.
The Kendall Marshall story is very interesting. In the future I will be doing a piece on him. Kendall is a local player who has received national attention since the seventh grade. According to reports he has committed to North Carolina. Word has it that O'Connell guard Jason Clark can flat do it. I can't wait to see these guys up close.
One last note is congratulations to retired Palotti basketball coach Butch McAdams.
