I'm certainly relieved that Tom Brady doesn't play for Dallas. I mean can you imagine what the world would be like if the Dallas Cowboys were 17-0 with Brady at quarterback? For the Redskins, Giants, & Eagles faithful life would not be worth living. It would be unbearable to coexist with the Cowboy nation. It would be just sickening all the media attention. Brady is one of those guys in life who has the world by the you know whats. Brady has the looks, money, fame, and resume. As the Cowboy starting quarterback it would be sick. We wouldn't catch a break. The world has to endure this Romo cat who hasn't won diddly squat worth noting but if Brady quarterbacked them? You would probably think he was the second coming. A handsome face playing quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys brings you all the treasures in the kingdom. All you have to do is get to the playoffs and jeez whiz you get the likes of Jessica Simpson wearing your jersey in the owners box. I'm not hatin on Romo I'm just saying he needs to at least get to a Super Bowl. Can you imagine the arm candy in Jerry Jones's box if Brady played in Texas stadium with his resume'? Trips with a supermodel? He'd do that with a different one every week. Commercials? They would be nonstop.
The Dallas Cowboys are like the Yankees of baseball in that it adds to the bling factor to play for them. The Lakers of the NBA are the same way. Playing for the Lakers just makes you seem bigger than life and if you are star player, hey the world lays down the carpet for you.
In football, the battlelines are clearly marked and with the Dallas/Washington rivalry
it goes deep. I personally am a Redskins fan and proud of it. I've been living in this area all my life and can say with honesty I extremely thrilled Tom Brady doesn't play for Dallas.
Brady is the best player in football and I can take the fact that he's playing for New England and not Dallas. I can admire him without hatred because he's not beating up on my beloved Redskins for ten years while getting so much media attention. I can take Romo because he hasn't accomplished anything yet. He's just enjoying the perks of the position. Let him get all the media attention he wants because he'll crash land if Dallas flops in the playoffs.
By the way I'm still standing by my prediction that Green Bay will represent the NFC
