DCMS Blog: New England will cover.
Wednesday, 30 January 2008
Although I run a sports media entity I feel compelled to throw something in about the  presidential campaign which will no doubt be the most hotly contested race in American history.

This year's presidential race will be more interesting than sports because of the players plan and simple.   The top dogs are breaking away from the pack in the Republican and Democratic Parties but the real race in the Democratic Camps, we all know this.  I think most would forecast a Democratic President for the next four years for reasons too numerous to list.  Americans secretly don't like dynasties, that's not what were built on.  Originality, innovation, and rooting for the underdog is what drives us.

It looks like the Terminator wants to back McCain now, which spells doom for Romney.
The Terminator is the only Republican who has some juice now but the problem is he's not a native American, so he can't run for prez, but his endorsement has power.

Super Tuesday is the day, especially for Hillary.  Do you vote for her because of Bill or do you vote for her because she can lead the country?  Good questions, very good questions.

Normally I stay away from politics but since this blog is for opinions, rants, etc, I figure I'll provide some insight.

Back to sports.  I understand Vegas is nervous about the uneven money going on the G-Men.   Every Super Bowl somebody places big bets for a big name celebrity.  It seems like every year you hear about a celebrity winning lots of money on the Super Bowl.

If I were betting my money of this game, I would ask myself, who is the better team?

If you look at position by position, the better team is New England hands down.  I would then ask myself, who has more to prove?  The answer would be New England because they want to win the game and go undefeated.  Not only do they want to win but they probably want to embarrass the Giants after what happened the last week of the season.

My gut instinct tells me New England will cover because Brady won't make mental mistakes like Peyton did and will abuse the Giant's secondary.

New England goes down as the greatest one season team in league history.

Any e-mails to me Wen.
