WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Howard University Department of Athletics has announced that it will offer discounted tickets for the MEAC basketball tournament, held March 10-15 at the RBC Center in Raleigh , N.C.
Tickets can be purchased from Howard’s Cramton Auditorium by calling 202-806-7164 or by visiting www.HUCramton.com. The MEAC Music Pass is included at no extra charge in the ticket price for individual games and ticket books.
The MEAC Music Pass will feature performers from the Capitol Records roster, including R&B group Cherish, singer/songwriter Novel and breakout artist Dear Jayne. Additionally, there will be a ‘special surprise’ appearance by one of today’s hottest artists soon to be announced. Cherish, Novel and Dear Jayne will perform mini concerts during select playoff games.

About the MEAC Tournament
The MEAC Basketball Tournament is a single elimination championship playoff that involves 11 Division I historically black colleges and universities located across the Atlantic coastline: Bethune-Cookman, Coppin State, Delaware State, Florida A&M, Hampton, Howard, Maryland Eastern Shore, Morgan State, Norfolk State, North Carolina A&T State, and South Carolina State. A bonus game including the North Carolina Central and Winston-Salem State men’s basketball teams will also highlight Championship Saturday.
