BUCKLEY EARNS USTFCCCA ALL-EAST REGION HONORS |

WASHINGTON, D.C. - After her performance at this past weekend's NCAA East Regional Outdoor Track and Field Championships, sophomore Landria Buckley was recognized as part of the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCA) All-East Region Team. Buckley was named to the list in the 100m hurdles.
"Landria has been a tremendous competitor all year," said head coach Michael Merritt. "In that type of competition she came through huge. It shows she's a championship athlete, getting into the top five and handling whatever comes her way."
Buckley, a native of Romulus, Mich., finished in fourth place in the 100m hurdles, earning an automatic qualification into next week's National Championships. She ran a time of 13.24 in the finals following a preliminary time of 13.40.
The NCAA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships will be held from June 11-14 at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa
