2008-09 Wizard Girls Auditions

    First Round: Saturday, June 28, 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

                               Rehearsal: Sunday, June 29, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

                               Final Auditions: Sunday, June 29, 3:00 p.m.

                               Finals: Verizon Center Main Court (Open to the public)

The Washington Wizards will hold auditions for the all-new Wizard Girls on June 28-29 at Verizon Center .  The first two rounds of the auditions will be held on the Wizards Practice Court on the Event Level of Verizon Center.  After the first two rounds, the public will be able to watch when 30 dancers move on to the Finals on Sunday, June 29 on the main court of Verizon Center . All interested participants are encouraged pre-register online at WashingtonWizards.com. 

The Wizard Girls are looking for outgoing, physically fit and professional women ages 18 and older who have a positive attitude, commitment to the job and the ability to work with a team.  Modeling experience is a plus.  Registration for the auditions will take place on June 28^th at 8:00 am with auditions set to start at 10:00 am.

Prep Classes will be held by the team for candidates interested in learning more about the Wizard Girls’ different dance styles and techniques, including valuable information on the audition process and helpful audition hints.  All Wizard Girls hopefuls are invited to come to a clinic, but attendance is not required to audition.  All prep classes will be held on the Verizon Center Practice Court .  Those interested in registering for the classes should visit WashingtonWizards.com for more information.
