WASHINGTON, D.C. Lemuel Lyons, Rodino Wright and Brian Cunningham each picked up goals as the Howard men's soccer team dropped VMI 3-1 in a matchup Wednesday evening at Greene Stadium. The win gave the Bison its first victory of the season.

"I think everyone finally started executing tonight," said head coach Michael Lawrence. "I thought that we played well tonight and it shows with three goals scored, which resulted in a win."

With the win, HU improves to 1-11-1, while the Keydets drop to 0-9-0 on the year.
