Injury Updates from Virginia Tech trainer Mike Goforth

Jason Adjepong: "Jason has continually suffered problems with his right shoulder since arriving at camp. This is the same shoulder he had surgery on in high school, as well as another surgery on his left shoulder. At this point, Dr. Marc Siegel feels imperative to have his right shoulder repaired so he can rehabilitate for next season."

NOTE: The surgery will be Thursday afternoon at Montgomery Regional Hospital in Blacksburg and Adjepong will miss the rest of the season. Adjepong played in the first two games, but did not play against Duke. The football staff will apply for a medical redshirt for the true freshman defensive end.

Vince Hall: "Vince had an abscessed wisdom tooth removed yesterday and missed Tuesday's practice and will miss Wednesday's practice. We expect him to be ready for Saturday."

Brett Warren: "Brett suffered a left foot sprain in the Duke game. He had X-rays and an MRI taken, which revealed a sprained mid foot. We will be out 4-6 weeks. He will have two weeks of immobilization, followed by two weeks of rehabilitation. Fortunately, at this time, he does not require surgery."

Roland Minor: "Roland had his cast and four pins removed Monday and will be in 'blue' this week. We will re-evaluate his status at the beginning of next week."
