WIZARDS HEAD COACH EDDIE JORDANOn the offense:“When you lose a game, it’s a concern.  Whether you lose it close, didn’t execute offensively, couldn’t get a stop or you lose it big.  I was concerned about guys not taking quality shots and there are times when we had open looks and we just can’t make it, but that will come.  If you are not executing, not making an extra pass, or you’re affected by something else – that’s when you worry.  When you’re missing open shots, you just say, look, you’ve got to live with that.”  On the road losses:“We have veterans and eventually it does creep in once in a while, because we’re all human no matter how veteran we are. I would think it is in your head a little bit, but we should be strong enough to know there’s got to be a point where you’ve got to fight through it – you’ve got to bear down and get it done.” On the Atlanta Hawks:“Joe Johnson a heck of a player, he can score in so many ways.  He is a guard that is 6’8” and he can play the point, he can play some three, he has the ball a lot. He can do a lot with the ball, he can shoot from deep, he can run pick-and-rolls and create mismatches, he can get you in the post. He can drive on you, so he will be a great challenge to stop. They are a good team.  They are very well coached and Josh Smith is a heck of an athlete – he can change the game at both ends of the floor.  Zaza (Pachulia) is a different sort of center that gives people problems. So they have some problems areas for us and we just have to play the total game.” WIZARDS FORWARD ANTAWN JAMISONOn tomorrow’s game against the Atlanta Hawks:“It’s big, because the most important thing is we want to get a “W”. We a have little losing streak going on and you definitely want to stop the bleeding as soon as possible. This is a team that’s in our division, so you always want to win as many games in your division, because you never know when they might count.  This team has been playing pretty well and they are going to come out and play hard.  Joe Johnson is playing well and the rest of those guys have taken their roles and filled in pretty well.  We have to come out and play hard and be prepared for a tough Atlanta team.” WIZARDS FORWARD CARON BUTLEROn the Atlanta Hawks: “They are a young team.   They are a team on the rise just like ourselves. We just have to continue to match their energy. We’re playing at home, so I think we’ll have the edge in the energy department, but overall we need this win.”  WIZARDS FORWARD DARIUS SONGAILIAOn his rehabilitation:

“I actually started rehab today.  I did some walking on the treadmill and some core exercises, so it’s coming along – we’re working on it.  I think it takes about six weeks for the disk to heal, so until then, it’s mostly core work and stuff like that.”
