HOWARD OFFERING DISCOUNTED PACKAGE FOR BIG APPLE CLASSIC

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Howard University Department of Athletics is offering a discounted package for the annual Big Apple Classic, to be held on December 1 at Madison Square Garden (MSG) in New York.
Howard is offering premium arena tickets and round-trip bus transportation for $110 per person. Bowie State will tip off against Virginia Union at 7pm followed by the Bison taking on Hampton in the second game at 9pm. The price includes both games and attendees will have the opportunity to view a step show competition at 2:30pm and a drumline competition at 4:30pm, as well as enjoy the exhibitions, DJ, food and bands. There will also be an HBCU College Fair, live jazz and vendors on the MSG Concourse and a half-time show not to be missed.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the NAFEO (National Association for Equal Opportunity in Higher Education), the Thurgood Marshall College Fund and the National Black MBA's.
