DC Metro Sports - Washington Wizards forward Oleksiy Pecherov to host ‘Reading Time-Out’

WHO: Washington Wizards forward Oleksiy Pecherov WHAT: Interactive visit and story time with Oleksiy Pecherov.; a Read-to- Achieve initiative of NBA Cares WHEN: Thursday, November 29, 2007 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. WHERE: Fields Road Elementary SchoolOne School Drive Gaithersburg, MD 20878(301) 840-7131 Washington Wizards forward Oleksiy Pecherov will participate in a ‘Reading Time-Out’ with the third grade students of Elyssa Ram’s class at Fields Road Elementary School on Thursday, November 29 at 10:00 a.m. Pecherov will read a book to the students and then conduct a question and answer session immediately following the reading program. Pecherov will also share his personal story about his life in the NBA. Fields Road Elementary School was selected as the winner among over 125 schools that responded to the ‘Time-Out with the Wizards’ contest that asked teachers to describe in 100 words or less, “My classroom deserves a “Time-Out with the Wizards” because…”.
