ARLINGTON, Va. – Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin will skate with Sam Jacobson, 16, after the Capitals practice at Kettler Capitals Iceplex on Wednesday, March 7, as part of ESPN’s My Wish series. Sam has T-cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma and is going to have his most heartfelt wish come true as he has requested to meet his hockey idol, Ovechkin, and skate with him after practice through the Make-A-Wish Foundation®.
