United volunteers will participate in the annual MLK Day of Service

Washington, D.C. (January 13, 2012) – D.C. United will continue its strong tradition of community service by participating in the 2012 HandsOn Greater DC Cares annual MLK Day of Service. Through the United Builds initiative, D.C. United volunteers will work at Maya Angelou Public Charter School in Northeast DC painting, cleaning and beautifying the school from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 16.
